What Telent are Showcasing at BAPCO 2026

IoT Smart Buildings

Telent is showcasing its IoT Smart Building Proof of Concept through a live demonstration using the Acumen platform at a working fire station. The demo shows how connected sensors and real time data provide visibility of building conditions and usage, supporting estate management. Designed as a self contained solution, the proof of concept highlights how building technology can improve efficiency for emergency service environments.

IT Managed Service

Our Managed Service specialists will be on the stand to talk through Telent’s flexible service catalogue, built from more than 130 ICT Managed Service offerings designed specifically for emergency services. Whether organisations need individual modular services or full end‑to‑end support, our team can demonstrate how this catalogue helps Police, Fire and Ambulance services streamline operations, improve resilience, and complement in‑house teams with expert, security‑cleared support.

Station End and PSTN Replacement

With the end‑2027 PSTN switch‑off deadline fast approaching, it’s essential to modernise the secondary bearers that keep Station End mobilisation running. Telent has developed and successfully deployed a proven replacement based on Cradlepoint wireless router technology, using resilient 4G mobile services for the secondary path. Visit us on the stand to see how we can de‑risk your rollout, minimise disruption, and ensure your Station End remains resilient, secure, and ready for what’s next.

Vehicle Connectivity

Telent delivers end‑to‑end vehicle connectivity services for emergency services fleets, covering the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of voice and data communication systems. Supporting around ~35% of the UK’s emergency services vehicles, our specialist, security‑cleared engineers ensure every fleet is equipped with reliable, mission‑critical connectivity.
