CCTV

CCTV coverage is essential for the safety and security of your staff, residents and the public. We supply and maintain CCTV systems on both the railway network and underground stations.

Technology is changing rapidly and the ability to integrate and commission what are becoming complex IT systems is becoming as important. Replacement of legacy CCTV systems with new IP based systems, whilst keeping systems operational with the existing user interface can be challenging.

Our Experience

Having designed and installed over 6,000 CCTV cameras across 100 locations, as well as maintaining 22,000 cameras and associated recording systems, we can supply you with analogue or IP systems and support the development of migration strategies.

Our maintenance responsibilities currently include meeting and exceeding demanding service level targets on over 14,000 CCTV cameras across London Underground.

Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly line station upgrades

Complete replacement of all systems at 100 stations, requiring 6,000 new Bosch 0455 and 0485 cameras and associated control and recording infrastructure. The project also required integration with the Telent Management Integration and Control of Assets (MICA) station management system at each station.

Canary Wharf Station migration to IP Cameras

Installation of a new Cognyte Situational Intelligence Solutions Symphia VMS and the migration of 160 analogue cameras to IP CCTV. We carried out the migration of the analogue cameras and supporting infrastructure to an integrated IP CCTV system – the first large scale migration of its kind in that environment. It was imperative that the system remained operational throughout the project, something further complicated by the fact that the existing coaxial cable infrastructure could not be replaced and had to be re-used for the new IP Cameras. It was also essential that all cameras continued to be managed by the existing station management system and interface with the British Transport Police monitoring system.
