The new control system allows Network Rail to integrate and control both new and legacy equipment across the whole of the UK NR infrastructure.
Telent’s solution offers high availability system split nationally across 2 data centres, with regional control located at 13 electrical control rooms nationally.
The design allows the rollout of configuration and software upgrades as well as new features at a national scale, all whilst allowing greater flexibility of control during periods of network disruption or failure.
