Telent is now included on the specialist defence procurement Serapis framework. This framework is particularly aimed at enabling the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) to gain access to the most diverse expertise and talent available, especially suppliers that have not traditionally worked in defence.
Dstl is an executive agency of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) providing world class expertise and delivering cutting-edge science and technology in the defence and security field, for the benefit of the nation and its allies. As a supplier of specialist services to the MOD and wider government, Dstl works collaboratively with external partners in industry and academia, now including Telent, to provide expert research, specialist advice and invaluable operational support.
Telent has been accepted onto Serapis Lot 4 - Assured information infrastructure. This lot covers the development of communications and networks for applications including command, control, computers, communication, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (generally referred to as C4ISR).
