Telent is proud to be the platinum sponsor for this prestigious event.
Telent Technology Services Ltd (Telent), a leader in mission-critical technology solutions, has announced it will be a platinum sponsor at the APD Control Room Awards, for the third consecutive year.
Recognising the exceptional and selfless contributions that workers in emergency services and critical control rooms make every day for the public, the national award is crucial for celebrating these unsung heroes. Every team member, from the police, fire, and ambulance to the aviation and transportation sectors, will have the stories of their life-saving work heard. This year's prestigious awards will take place on 5th March 2020 in Leicestershire.
For many years, Telent has been providing critical infrastructure across the UK's emergency services, including the designing, delivering, supporting and operation of control rooms. Other solutions from Telent for the emergency services include digital evidence management, vehicle connectivity and conversion services, mobile data terminals, station end alerting and cloud services.
This year, Telent has successfully deployed a cloud-based infrastructure for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) to enable automation of its paper-based processes. This has allowed ESFRS to improve its digital workflows and increase its efficiency, as well as reduce the time and cost spent on admin tasks. Telent has also delivered the first UK-centric digital evidence management solution which has the potential to save police forces millions of pounds per year
"The Blue Light sector is a vital industry for us at Telent and we are extremely proud to supply the crucial, cutting edge technology that the UK's emergency services rely on to do their critical work," said Barry Zielinski, Telent's Operations and Services Director. "The APD Control Room Awards is a key event for us and we are delighted to be platinum sponsors for the third consecutive year.
