On Wednesday 16th March, Telent colleagues dressed to impress and arrived at the Grand Station in Wolverhampton for this year's Annual Awards evening. Celebrating talent, success and hard work across the entire team, Telent would like to congratulate all winners and nominees put forward by colleague nominations and votes for an award on the night.
Colleagues shortlisted from 160 nominations in 12 award categories were treated to a fabulous night compèred by Telent’s own Joe Pincus (Business Development Director). This was along with a delicious three-course meal and entertainment from the talented Great British Ratpack as the team danced the night away.
The award winners for each category were announced throughout the evening and following this, the winners can finally be revealed.
Rhys Sedgwick – Installation and Commissioning Engineer
"Rhys consistently goes above and beyond to support his team and deliver the best service for Telent’s customers. He’s passionate about his role and helping others, supporting a number of initiatives both internally and externally to promote engineering apprenticeships."
Oliver Bushell – Assistant Project Manager
"Oliver has played a huge part in bringing people and teams together around a common goal. He’s supported numerous teams and individuals and always treats everyone with an open mind, bringing a very positive attitude to the team."
Gerri Hancox – Personal Assistant to Managing Director (Transport)
"Gerri is an enthusiastic and committed charity champion and has been instrumental in organising fundraising events for corporate charities over the last several years. She always engages with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in a professional and friendly way."
Daniel Rigby – Regional Manager

Adam Bench – Fleet Operations and Compliance Manager

HR Admin and Payroll Team
"The HR Admin and Payroll team have shown dedication to Telent and to other colleagues and teams. Over the last 12 months, they’ve supported over 1000 new starters and are instrumental in supporting the business."

Special mentions also went to Andy Roberts (Senior Occupational Health and Safety Manager) and Dave Johnson (Programme Validator) who both went above and beyond to support colleagues who were struggling with their mental health. Andy and Dave respectively made efforts to reach out to their colleagues to help them through challenging times, and the Executive Team felt both deserved a special mention for their actions.
Following yet another busy year, the team at Telent continues to work tirelessly to ensure that the nation’s critical digital infrastructure remains connected. The Annual Awards night is a huge ‘thank you’ to all members of our valued team.
