Telent to showcase data-driven solutions at Highways UK 2024

Highways UK takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 16-17 October. Earlier this year, National Highways awarded Telent a contract extension to continue operating the digital connectivity network of the of the SRN until 2027, having worked together since 2018; testament to the experience and expertise of National Highways and Telent’s collective teams, and the joint approach to future-proofing the critical digital infrastructure of the SRN.

Telent also recently announced its collaboration with Wavetronix to supply radar detection equipment, which will be used by National Highways to manage variable message signs and traffic flow, ultimately mitigating the risks associated with congestion and queues in live lanes, supporting the smooth running of the SRN.
