Telent will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of technology services and solutions for those in the blue light sector at The Emergency Tech Show.
Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on September 19 and 20, the event provides a platform for technology leaders and emergency services professionals to collaborate and discover the cutting-edge technologies and operational solutions driving a change in the industry.
The Emergency Tech Show runs alongside the Emergency Services Show and is the UK’s largest showcase of emerging technologies and innovations for public safety and emergency response. Organisations can leverage these innovations to make informed and critical technology investments and decisions. This provides an ideal opportunity for Telent to discuss and perform a number of virtual and hands-on demonstrations of its technology solutions for personnel from the blue light sector that visit its stand.
This includes its 5G Private network solution for “campus style” environments, which will be featured at the show. This technology creates a private, dedicated 5G coverage area that provides a high-performance wireless network for HQ and training facilities. It can also provide a tactical communication bubble for major incidents capable of supporting voice, data and video connectivity across multiple agencies.
Also on display at the Telent stand is the VLS solution to support communications during high-rise building evacuations. Developed in partnership with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, the VLS solution allows officers at an incident to communicate over a significant range with multiple occupants of a high-rise building. VLS has applications and use-cases for many other emergency services and public safety incidents, such as flooding and wildfires.
