Telent recognised for excellence in employee experience

On Thursday 23 May 2024, Telent attended the 2024 UK Employee Experience Awards™ (UK EXA), hosted at a special awards evening in London’s Pall Mall.

The awards recognise organisations who put their employees first, introduce the best employee experience initiatives, and who want to make employee experience one of their core goals.

This year’s event gave Telent a lot to celebrate, as the business was awarded Silver in the Best Employee Engagement Strategy category and shortlisted top three in the Diversity and Inclusion category, with judges praising the great strides Telent has made over the last few years.

“I’m incredibly proud of my team and the hard work they’ve put in to get Telent to where we are today,” said Jemimah Parnell, Group HR Director.

“Our People Strategy is fundamental to our strategic priorities and the direction of travel we want to take as a business over the next five years. It’s rewarding to see Telent recognised at industry level for the work we’ve done in this area, particularly in a relatively short period of time.”

Speaking after the awards evening, CEO Jo Gretton added: “Employee Engagement and ED&I are part of six key areas we’ve been focusing on as a business over the last few years and will continue to focus on for FY24/25.

“We already know that our people make Telent a great place to work and it was fantastic to attend the UK EXA Awards and see our business recognised for excellence when it comes to employee experience.

“Seeing the stiff competition Telent was up against has only inspired us to keep moving forward with our People Strategy to ensure that Telent continues to be an employer of choice – both for current teammates and future colleagues.”
