Corporate & Social Responsibility

At Telent we take our Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and ensure that we always consider environmental and social factors.

Companies not only have a Corporate Social Responsibility in terms of financial, environmental and social factors, they must also recognise that their employees want to work for a company that cares about its own people, and the wider community. telent and our employees follow behavioural guidelines to ensure we continue to take this into account, we do this by:

Rigorous procedures and audit processes

We consider the environmental implications of working conditions, health and safety, and ethical procurement. We have also developed explicit and detailed codes of conduct, procedures and audit processes designed to effectively manage and monitor a wide range of issues related to these concerns, and ensure our policies are embedded in everything we do.

Copies of our policies are available on request.

Local communities

We strive to play a constructive role in the local communities wherever we have an office base. For example by participating in raising awareness of engineering or health & safety issues in local schools or sponsoring after-school sports clubs.

Our Corporate Charity Partnership with Alzheimer’s Society

Telent and its employees have chosen to partner with Alzheimer’s Society from January 2019 for three years.

During this period employees, with support from their families and friends, will be actively involved in fund raising.

In 2019 we held lots of fund raising events including cake sales, bike rides in Chorley and Warwick on 19th July, a golf day on 5th September, raffles and other challenges which all went towards our total of £78,000 raised!

During 2020 our plans have had to change slightly due to COVID-19 but that hasn't stopped us organising fundraising events! We launched the telent4Alzhiemer's challenge in August.
