Telent encourages everyone to support charities and give something back to local communities. Telent has partnered with the mental health charity Mind, pledging its 2022-2024 corporate fundraising campaign to the charity and continuing its commitment to supporting and raising awareness of mental health problems.

Why Mind needs you

Mind is a national charity providing advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. It campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health challenges that many people face.

Through Mind, millions of people have access to the advice and support they need thanks to its information and services nationally and locally, in England and Wales. Mind is building on change, but there is much more to do – and we’re thrilled that here at Telent we can help to bring about change in the coming years.

"For those living with a mental health problem, having access to the right support and information is vital. We hope that the money we raise goes some way in supporting Mind’s incredible work and that our awareness efforts help to let more people know about the help that is available through the charity."

Every year, Telent invites suppliers, customers and colleagues to its Annual Charity Golf Day in aid of the company’s chosen charity. With Mind, the mental health charity, as the fundraising cause this year, players took to the fairways once again for the 18th edition of the event at a new venue in Warwickshire.

Mind representatives were also in attendance at Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club, which hosted the event. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health issues.

With the overwhelming generosity from its suppliers and customers Telent are proud to announce the event raised an eye-watering £75,900 for its nominated charity.

Around the world in 90 days

In April 2021 Telent launched an ambitious challenge to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society. The original idea called for Team Telent to walk, run, cycle, swim, or row the distance from Telent’s Head Office in Warwick to the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo in time for the Olympic Games in July.

Teams and individuals threw themselves into the challenge, covering the distance in just one month! With such a fantastic achievement, Team Telent decided to travel all around the world before the Olympic Games, covering an enormous 40,075 km and raising an incredible £2,090 along the way.
