"We’re thrilled to support Astley Park School in their fundraising efforts. Their commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children with SEN is truly inspiring"

We proudly support Astley Park School with a donation, reinforcing our commitment to social value and community engagement.
Social value is at the heart of our mission and success. It shapes the way we engage with the communities we serve and underpins how we meet the evolving needs of our customers.
At Telent, we’re committed to making a meaningful and measurable impact on the world around us. With the recent changes introduced by the Procurement Act, there is now an even greater expectation for organisations to demonstrate genuine social value. That’s why embedding it into everything we do is not just important—it’s essential.
By integrating social value into our operations, we enhance our competitiveness in bids, attract and retain great people, and continue building a brand we’re proud to be part of.
As part of our ongoing commitment, we’re thrilled to share that Telent has recently donated £2,000 to Astley Park School, a local special educational needs (SEN) school in Chorley. This contribution supports their fundraising efforts and reflects our Social Value pillars—Community and Workforce. Astley Park plays a vital role in both supporting our local area and nurturing future talent, and we’re proud to stand behind their incredible work.
Astley Park School is currently running a fundraising campaign throughout 2025 to raise £25,000 to support the facility and its students. Telent’s donation will go towards vital improvements to the learning environments and provide resources to enable students at Astley Park to thrive. This will include play equipment, sensory resources and educational toys for aiding learning.
The school also offers a holiday club as part of Lancashire Break Time to enable children with SEN to maintain some sort of routine during school holidays, offering parents respite through what can be a difficult time for SEN families. The funds raise throughout the year, including our donation will also provide support and resources for this initiative.
Located just over a mile away from our Chorley office, Astley Park School is a pillar within the local area. Our support for the school further underscores Telent's dedication to making a positive impact in our community and fostering an inclusive environment for all.
