The annual Charity Golf Day hosted by Telent, part of M Group, once again brought together customers, partners and colleagues to raise vital funds for Mind, the mental health charity. Now in its 23rd year, the event welcomed teams to Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club for a day of friendly competition, fundraising and networking, raising an incredible £65,000 in support of mental health services across England and Wales.
The event saw 18 teams take to the course, competing for the coveted team and individual titles, with congratulations going to Mills Limited and Gerry O’Shea for their success on the day.
Everyone involved in the day took the opportunity to donate to the course, through tombolas and silent auctions. Much of this activity took place at the much-anticipated 10th hole stop, where teams gathered for refreshments, the chance to take part in a tombola and make bids for silent auction prizes donated by employees, customers and partners. Something for everyone.
The fundraising momentum continued into the evening, as guests enjoyed dinner and heard from representatives of Mind, who shared how the funds raised will help support people experiencing mental health challenges across England and Wales.
Following dinner, guests were joined by special guest Kyran Bracken MBE, former England Rugby International and Rugby World Cup winner, and Shane Williams MBE, one of Wales' most celebrated rugby internationals, who entertained attendees with stories from his career both on and off the pitch, followed by an engaging Q&A session.
Our Charity Golf Day continues to be one of the highlights of the year, bringing together customers, partners and colleagues in support of an incredibly important cause. The generosity shown once again has been outstanding, and I would like to thank everyone who attended, donated prizes, participated in the auctions and contributed to helping us raise an incredible amount for Mind. The funds raised will help Mind continue its vital work supporting people experiencing mental health challenges, while also helping to raise awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing across our industry and communities.
"We are incredibly grateful to Telent, its customers, partners and colleagues for their ongoing support. On behalf of everyone at Mind, thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year's event such a success.
"Telent would like to thank everyone who attended, donated prizes and supported the fundraising activities, helping make the 2026 event another resounding success.
