Telent proudly supports the APD Control Room Awards for the 2nd year running

The company is the platinum sponsor for the prestigious event

Leading mission-critical technology solutions provider Telent Technology Services Ltd (Telent) has announced it will be a platinum sponsor for a second successive year at the upcoming APD Control Room Awards.

The national awards recognise the extraordinary and selfless contributions that staff in critical control rooms make day-in-day-out for the public. From the police, fire, and ambulance to the aviation and transportation sectors, every team member will have the chance to be celebrated and have their stories heard at the awards ceremony on 7 March 2019 in Nottingham.

Entries for the awards open on 31st October, with categories including Award for Services to the Public, Lifetime Achievement Award, Control Room Dispatcher of the Year, Leader of the Year, Control Room Call Taker of the Year, Community Champion Award, Young Achiever of the Year, Special Recognition for Bravery and Courage Award, Team of the Year and The John Gilhooly Unsung Hero Award.

Zielinski, a member of the awards judging panel, added: “Last year’s awards evening was a fantastic celebration and a very emotional recognition of the incredible work and commitment of control room staff from all fields of the emergency services. I look forward to celebrating all the incredible achievements and individuals who make such outstanding contributions to our society.”
