Telent are sponsoring BAPCO SATELLITE SERIES – NG999

The Telent team will be attending BAPCO Satellite Series event this summer focused on the topic of Next Generation 999 (NG999). The event will be hosted in an intimate round-table format at the Rag Army and Navy Club, London on Tuesday 11 June 2019.

The objective of the event is to inform and update attendees on the plans and possibilities for Next Generation 999. The event will engage stakeholders and providers in debate on future strategies and technologies that will shape the future of how the public engage with emergency services through the 999 service.

Telent has a long-standing track record in providing mission critical technology solutions to Police, Fire, Ambulance & Public Safety organisations across the UK & Ireland. From Control Rooms to full ICT Managed Services, Vehicle services and the transition to ESN, plus much more.

NG999 will take in to consideration the increase in mobile technology and social media as well other changes in technology, operational requirements and society.

The wider range of information available from NG999 services will also need to be incorporated into digital evidence case bundles as part of ongoing investigations.

Telent’s digital evidence management solution addresses the increase in digital evidence, such as CCTV footage, photos and videos recorded by the public, and body camera and dashcam clips. The solution will significantly reduce the time officers spend physically collecting CCTV images and enable faster analysis and processing of evidence. Police forces will also be able to securely share evidence with the criminal justice system to ensure evidence cannot be misplaced, lost or damaged, reducing court case adjournments and delays.

We look forward to meeting all the attendees from the Emergency Services Sector and understanding their challenges and opportunities for NG999 and how we can help them with the evolution of this critical service.
