Three apprenticeship options

We offer three types of apprenticeships, each focused on a different sector.

These include:

Network Services

As a Network Services Apprentice, you’ll learn how to install, test, maintain and repair vital telecommunications and networking equipment. It’s an incredibly varied role – one day you could be supporting the UK’s networks providing media and broadband services to millions of people, the next exploring cutting-edge technology.

  • Two-year programme leading to an Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship in IT and Telecommunications.
  • Training is delivered through practical work, online training and residential training at our head office in Warwick.

Technology Solutions (Traffic)

As a Technology Solutions Apprentice, you’ll learn how to install, commission and maintain critical communications equipment – from traffic lights and crossings, to overhead gantries and emergency motorway phones. With our support, you’ll become a specialist engineer at the heart of the UK’s transport network.

  • Three-year programme leading to an Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship in Engineering (Electrical Maintenance).
  • Your first year will be spent studying at Procat College in Basildon, Essex.

Rail

As a Rail Apprentice, you’ll be working on either mainline railways across the country or the London Underground. You’ll learn how to install, commission and maintain crucial equipment, as well as restore or repair customer systems. One day you could be developing a Station Management suite, the next fixing a critical CCTV system at Canary Wharf underground station – it’s a challenging and varied role.

  • Three-year programme leading to an Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship in Engineering (Electrical Maintenance).
  • Your first year will be spent studying at Procat College in Basildon, Essex.
