Speak up

As a leading technology company delivering mission critical communication networks, we have a duty to do business ethically and with utmost integrity. We apply effective systems and controls to ensure that our procedures and audit processes are embedded in everything we do. This includes detailed codes of conduct, procedures and audit processes designed to effectively manage and monitor a wide range of issues.

Our Speak Up Policy

We actively encourage all Telent stakeholders including employees, suppliers and their employees to speak up and inform us of any actual or suspected malpractice including:

  • Breach of internal rules or procedures
  • Criminal offences (for example fraud, bribery or tax evasion)
  • Financial malpractice
  • Contravention of a legal obligation
  • Improper conduct or unethical behaviour
  • A deliberate cover-up of any of these items

This list is not exhaustive and any matter raised will be treated seriously.

We have separate mechanisms in-place to handle general complaints, HR, health and safety or environmental matters including our telSAFE and ConnectMobile apps. Our Speak Up Policy is not intended to cover these issues, but may be appropriate if your report concerns malpractice, or you wish to retain anonymity.

Reporting Concerns

If you think there is something we need to know, our employees should first contact their line manager/supervisor or the HR team. Alternatively, they may contact our Group Financial Controller or Company Secretary directly. Further information is available on our employee intranet site.

Subcontractors and their employees should initially speak to their Telent contact, call our general enquiries line on 0800 783 7761 or email procurement@Telent.com for the attention of our Responsible Procurement Manager.

If for any reason you feel that you cannot raise concerns via these channels, you can use our secure and confidential reporting service, which is operated by an independent third-party. The service is:

  • Free to use
  • User-friendly
  • Completely anonymous and confidential if requested
  • Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
  • Provided in a range of languages

To raise a concern, freephone 0808 196 3757 or click here to file a report online.

Please note that this service is not for reporting general complaints, HR or health and safety matters.
