Station systems

Prevention is always better than cure, and although when faults occur on station systems we fix them, we prefer to prevent them happening in the first place. We know many faults are preventable so our maintenance services are focused on reducing the number of faults on our maintenance contracts, not just fixing them.


telent provides service support for Transport for London, including fully planned and reactive maintenance services for fire detection and suppressions systems. We also provide communications, mechanical, electrical, and signage systems on the Bakerloo, Central, Victoria, Waterloo & City, Circle, Hammersmith & City, District and Metropolitan lines.

Asset Management

The assets and systems we maintain and support, both in the station and on trains, are critical to the daily running of the London Underground network and the UK rail network.

Technical Service Centre

The hub of our Asset Management activities is our Technical Service Centre. Manned by technically trained staff the person who takes the call is not only able to understand the detail of your problem they will undertake an initial diagnosis and can often fix the fault online. If they can’t fix it they will dispatch a fully briefed engineer, already equipped with the appropriate spares and equipment, to fix the fault in a single visit.
