Telent wins Gold at the 2019 RoSPA Fleet Safety Awards
We are delighted to announce that Telent Technology Services Limited has been awarded the prestigious 2019 RoSPA Gold Fleet Safety Award for management of occupational road risk.
This is a fantastic achievement in recognition of our practices and procedures to help staff stay safe on the road and get home safely at the end of the working day.
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are internationally-renowned as the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. It receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Mark Plato, Chief Executive Officer at Telent, says “At Telent, our number one priority is to keep people safe. We recognise that driving is a key occupational risk and one that we take very seriously throughout the organisation. Receiving this award is testament to our successful Driver Safety campaign, which continues to focus on encouraging us all to be mindful of the risks we face on the road and what actions we can take to reduce those risk.”
We will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019. Representatives from the Driver Safety Operational Group will be attending as well as selected drivers from across the business who have consistently demonstrated positive driving behaviours.
