Between the 5th and 19th of May, leading transport and technology companies, Thales and Telent, are inviting SMEs with innovative solutions that can be applied to the rail industry to submit their pitches to a panel of experts. This opportunity provides the chance to get expert feedback on your offering, with the potential to work with two leading companies in the rail industry to shape the future of Britain’s journeys for passengers, operators and infrastructure owners. If you think that your company has what it takes to shape the future of UK rail, then this is your chance to realise that ambition.

About the team

The Thales Telent Joint Venture (TTJV) is very pleased to announce that HS2 have confirmed our selection for the next stage of procurement for the package of works referred to as Operational Telecommunications and Security.

The HS2 Operational Telecommunications and Security invitation to tender (ITT) is expected to be published in Q3 2021 and we are looking to further expand our engagement with SMEs to seek further innovative ideas, solutions and involvement in pre ITT development, tender response and delivery strategy.

We also want to hear from you if you have innovations and solutions that will improve the efficiency and sustainability of our work on site and help to ensure that we make a positive environmental impact.

Who are we seeking engagement with?

Companies or traders that meet the UK government definition of SME.

However, if you do not meet the criteria but feel that you have innovative ideas or solutions that can help meet HS2’s aspirations, then we would still like to hear from you.
