Telent Pride Community shines at Warwickshire Pride 2025

The glitter has almost washed out of clothes and hair but we’re still on cloud nine following a whirlwind weekend at Warwickshire Pride Festival!

It was our second year as sponsors of this event and we were delighted to join other businesses in showing allyship and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

The event took place on Saturday 16 August 2025, where members of our Pride Community flew the Telent flag in a march through Leamington town centre and hosted a stall at the festival laden with stickers, Telent goodies, cupcakes, and more.

Throughout the day, we showcased the work that Telent does, engaged with the wider LGBTQ+ community, and networked with local professionals from around Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

We were also joined by drag performer Scarlett Harlett (contestant of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season three). Scarlett brought sparkle, sass, and unforgettable energy to the day as she chatted with members of the public and proudly took photos wearing a Telent sash.

Jo Gretton, CEO

“It was an absolute pleasure to support our Pride Community at this year’s Warwickshire Pride Festival. It was lovely to talk to so many local people about who Telent and M Group are, what we do, and share why we’re such a great place to work.

“I know that the organisers of Warwickshire Pride focus on making it a family-focused, community event to bring everyone together and they do this brilliantly – it’s a very relaxed event and people were more than happy to stop and chat to us. Well done to everyone involved, it was a great day to be a part of.”

David Oleksiewicz, Head of Change Management in Network Services:

"It was truly fantastic to represent both Telent and the Pride Community at Warwickshire Pride 2025. I never imagined we could surpass last year, but I genuinely believe we did. Sharing Telent’s story with the public and highlighting the inclusive, welcoming culture that makes it such a great place to work was incredibly rewarding. On behalf of myself and Amie, I want to extend heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who gave their energy and spirit to the day—it’s a long, hard day’s work, but there’s nothing more gratifying than seeing our community shine together.”

Jack McCullagh, Bid Management Apprentice in Transport

“The Warwickshire Pride event was such an amazing, privileged experience to be involved in and contribute to as a part of Telent's Pride Community Group. Getting to speak to so many people about who Telent is and why we had a presence at the event was a fantastic opportunity. It was a great chance to contribute to such an inclusive event, whether that was through Telent stickers, flags, or handouts, whilst having a fun shared experience with the other volunteers.”

Margaret Pryal, Occupational Health Administrator

“What a day we all had. People were so happy and the atmosphere was amazing. I met some really fabulous people and loved chatting to them, hearing their stories and letting them know all about Telent and what we do. The team were amazing on the day and we all got fully involved from handing out stickers, pens, cups, note pads and sweets to fully building and dismantling the stand. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Great team effort and an absolute pleasure to be a part of".
