Telent's sustainable procurement leadership recognised in CIPS Excellence Awards 2026 shortlist

Telent is proud to celebrate Rhys Griffiths, Senior ESG Procurement Manager, who has been shortlisted for the Sustainable Procurement Champion award by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)

One of the profession's most prestigious awards programmes, the CIPS Excellence in Procurement & Supply Awards celebrates excellence, innovation and leadership across procurement and supply chain management. Following a rigorous judging process, Rhys was shortlisted by an independent panel of industry experts alongside procurement leaders from some of the UK's leading organisations.

The shortlisting is a significant personal achievement for Rhys and a proud moment for Telent's procurement team, recognising his leadership in advancing sustainable procurement and helping turn environmental, social and ethical ambitions into practical supply chain action. His work has focused on delivering measurable outcomes, developing supplier capability, contributing to industry initiatives and demonstrating how procurement can create long-term value for money while supporting customers to achieve their objectives.

I'm incredibly proud to be recognised alongside some of the UK's leading organisations and procurement professionals. While the nomination is in my name, it could not have been achieved without the collective effort of Telent's procurement team, colleagues across the business, and the support of our customers, suppliers and partners. Together, we've shown what being purpose-driven can achieve, and I'm honoured this has been recognised by CIPS
