Spring 2020 Newsletter
Welcome to the first edition of telent’s Network Services newsletter – designed to keep you up to date with our latest activities and developments and help you understand more about the service that we offer.
As telent’s Managing Director, Network Services, I am always impressed by both the quality and quantity of the work our teams carry out. And this first instalment of our newsletter certainly sets the bar high, with a mix of news from our business including interesting and notable customers, expert commentary on key technologies, updates on our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and highlights from events, conferences and exhibitions. You can expect to see similar stories in future editions of our newsletter and we hope the content provides you with useful insight into telent and our dedicated employees.
In this inaugural newsletter, our notable customer featured is Merseyside Fire & Rescue Authority, which is one of our longest standing customers. We have been working with the fire service since 2001 and are incredibly pleased to have just extended our contract to 2024. This will see telent continue to xx. Moving from the old to the new, the University of Exeter is one of our most recent contract wins – and is pioneering a network transformation project that we believe will set a trend for universities across the UK as they look to enhance students’ experiences with up-to-date IT infrastructure.
These contract wins, and many more, not only reflect the diverse range of sectors we serve – from Service Providers and Emergency Services to Defence and the public sector, including government, higher education and health – but also give a glimpse into the evolution of our company. Within the last year, we have transformed from a market-shaped organisation into one with a new functional-led structure which now included responsibility for the UK and Ireland the north and republic. This new structure will help us deliver on our ultimate aim of serving our customers better by providing them with a trusted IT partner.
It is strategies like these, along with our talented dedicated workforce, which led to telent recently been named in the Sunday Times Top Track 250. I am confident that this is just one of many achievements we will be celebrating in the years to come as technology continues to evolve. To find out more about how we are keeping pace with the ever-changing technology landscape, keep an eye out for us at upcoming industry events, including BAPCO, Connected Britain and more.
Best Wishes, Peter Moir Managing Director, Network Services
