To technically support the emergency services in the most effective, streamlined way possible, we design, build and install integrated Command and Control information and communication systems. These systems are at the heart of their operations, dependant on multi-channel data communications networks, data-storage and innovative high level IT applications, enabling reliable command and control functionality across large scale operations.

London Ambulance and numerous Fire and Rescue Services have selected our solutions. We enable effective management and coordination of their front line teams, vehicles and control rooms through our communications, computing and information technologies, which converge seamlessly into their mobile platforms.
Handling of major incidents requires joint collaboration between multiple services. Smarter communication makes the difference between life or death. This further drives our solutions for sophisticated support networks of reliable open line communication with interoperability capabilities. The accuracy and speed of disseminating incident information to appropriate emergency support vehicles and control rooms, provides the crucial, unified operational picture for all involved.
With safety paramount, we successfully developed Automated Personnel Locations System (APLS) with the objective of enabling control centre staff to locate field personnel working in emergency situations. Our system is accurate to within a metre and is extensively used by the emergency services.
Our engineering field-force has expertise across both new and traditional systems, and are fully accredited, understand the GD-92 protocol and are firecomms and manufacturer specific solution trained. Deployed 365 days a year with unrivalled capacity for repairs, corrective and preventative maintenance, we are equipped to resolve an issue within four hours, if needed, wherever your communications assets are located in the UK and Ireland.

Shropshire and Hereford and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service
Our proven experience in both emergency vehicles and stations communications helped seal our contract with Shropshire Fire and Rescue Services in 2011, requiring us to develop a Command and Control replacement system.
Central to their 999 call handling operations and together with their existing station and vehicle communication systems, we provided an integrated mobilising solution enabling more efficient communication, faster dissemination of critical information and quicker response of crews and response teams to emergency incidents.
Successful completion led us to a subsequent contract with Hereford and Worcester Fire Services requiring an end-to-end Command and Control system to replace their core systems, vehicles and station network assets. Rethinking every aspect of their strategic and operational command processes, we drew upon our expertise in modern technology and communications systems to deliver a programme of planning, designing, logistics and installation, whilst ensuring existing operational services remained unaffected.
North Wales Police
Working in partnership with high tech development company Frequentis, we support the Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS). Developed by Frequentis, the ICCS enables forces to integrate control rooms with radio, telephony and other systems improving response to the public and staff for all 999 communications.
Using our secure service centre in London, we remotely monitor the entire network. We analyse network trends, provide up-to-date performance metrics, co-ordinate corrective and preventative maintenance tasks and provide asset and spares management.
Metropolitan Police Service
This is a supply, installation and support delivery of the Integrated Communication Control System (ICCS) at the three Metropolitan Police Service control rooms. This project includes approximately 500 working positions and 500 CCI ports across three locations. Using our highly effective Automated Personnel Location System (APLS), we have enabled the mapping of field operative’s locations to the centralised Command and Control system. The system supports some 35,000 officers.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service
A seven year contract which commenced 2009, involves the outsourcing of all ICT functions including the end-to-end provision of Command and Control systems and incorporating mobilising, ICCS, MDT, Station End, Communications Bearers and Fire and Ground Command Technologies.
North West Fire Control Ltd
As part of a wider community initiative in cost reduction and services improvement, we were required to provide a mobilising solution for Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Services. The contract, which commenced 2012, requires us to supply, install, commission and provide on-going support of a new Command and Control System with Intergraph’s mobilising and Frequentis’ ICCS technologies.
Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service and Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service
Delivering a service across a 10 year period, we are the prime contractor for supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support for an end-to-end Command and Control system, including Intergraph mobilising system and Frequentis’ ICCS technology.
Our responsibilities include all aspects of the joint mobilising system including Station End equipment, mobile data solutions and managed control room services.
