telent’s UCaaS telentConnect is now available on G-Cloud 8

To support the digitisation of the Public Sector, leading technology company, telent has launched its Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) solution, telentConnect, on the Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud Framework. As part of the Government’s Digital Marketplace, G-Cloud is a go-to platform for Public Sector buyers and suppliers to procure the highest quality services and solutions required to build a digital strategy in a legally compliant way.

telent’s feature rich communications platform, allows employees to work more effectively, collaborate with colleagues and partners, and frees companies to focus on their operations rather than managing technology.

telentConnect provides a flexible user licencing model that can be deployed in single organisations, shared service operations, and multi-agency working. The collaborative and versatile nature of telentConnect provides employees, both office based and mobile, with a range of tools including scheduled and ad-hoc meetings, web-conferencing and multi-media sessions.  These benefits, in addition to its predictable cost base, will offer significant productivity enhancements to all Public Sector organisations including Local Authorities, the NHS and the Public Safety sector.

Commenting on telentConnect, Andy Gifford, Operations Director, Network Services at telent, said, “We deployed telentConnect as our UCaaS solution and it is expected to offer savings up to a third compared to traditional voice communications. We are delighted to be able to provide the UK’s Public Sector organisations with the technology required to also achieve these benefits.

Andy continues, “We believe there is a need to bridge the gap between the digital and business worlds, and at telent we are dedicated to providing the very best solutions to organisations to assist them in implementing an effective digital strategy.”

In addition to this, telent has been awarded places on two further new government procurement frameworks - the Network Services Framework (RM1045) and the Technology Services Framework (RM1058) – highlighting telent’s capabilities and expertise in the Public Sector.
