telent climbs to 30 in Sunday Times Top Track 250
Technology firm, telent, has been ranked at number 30 in the Sunday Times’ Top Track 250.
The Top Track 250 ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies by sales. telent has climbed 35 places since the company’s previous listing in 2015.
Working with many of the UK and Ireland’s leading companies in the Transportation and Service Provider Markets and Central Government, Emergency Services and Defence organisations to define the ever-changing digital landscape, telent’s depth and breadth of capabilities is continuing to grow.
With the past year incorporating many highlights including a market leading 14-year service contract with National Express Group, the near completion of the voice and data network on the new Aircraft Carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth and many other notable contracts, telent is going from strength to strength.
Not only does the company work hard to improve networking functions within corporate organisations, it also supports local councils and has many CSR initiatives in place. This includes telent’s involvement in the ‘homes for veterans’ project in Manchester, which was fronted by the BBC’s DIY SOS programme, in addition to raising thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
telent Chief Executive, Mark Plato, comments: “We are very pleased to have climbed 35 places in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 list following a very successful year. We are dedicated to continued profitable growth in our key market sectors, whilst also very proud that we support local communities through our work on rural infrastructure projects, with the emergency services, with local councils and through our CSR initiatives.”
Complied by Fast Track, the league table complements the Sunday Times Top Track 100 league table of Britain’s private companies with the biggest sales, listing the next 250 biggest companies, provided sales or operating profits have increased by at least 10% from the penultimate to their latest financial year.
