The contracts will see Telent provide design services for its telecom networks across the North East, South West and North West & Scotland
London, UK, 8 January 2020: Telent, a leading UK technology and network services company, has announced it has been awarded three single discipline regional framework contracts to deliver design services by Network Rail. As part of a £640m investment programme, Network Rail has announced it has awarded 82 framework contracts to 34 suppliers, to deliver design services across the country. Telent will provide design services for telecoms in the North East, South West and North West & Scotland Regions for Network Rail from January 2020 onwards.
This follows Telent’s recent contract win to deliver free Wi-Fi to millions of passengers at Britain’s busiest railway stations as part of Network Rail’s Put Passengers First plan. For more information about Network Rail’s announcement and the full list of contracts, please click here
