Keeping UK Rail Connected at Railtex 2017

At telent, we provide technology and network services to many of the UK and Ireland’s largest and most mission-critical operational systems. From Public Safety to Defence, Transport to Service Provider – when it matters most, we deliver.

Join us on stand L31at Railtex 2017, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 9th - 11th May, to experience how telent is helping to keep UK rail connected.

On stand L31 we will be exhibiting the new features of MICA, our leading station management system. These have been introduced to support major station upgrades at both London Bridge and Bank Stations, integration of congestion management at Clapham Junction plus new media management features that are keeping passengers up-to-date with the latest information.

Acumen, our proven remote condition monitoring platform implemented on London Underground, will also be on show, incorporating our new analytics module that is now monitoring a large number of CCTV cameras over low bandwidth links.

This year we will also be focusing on established partnerships with CISCO and Juniper along with new partners such as Exterion Media where we are the advertising technology deployment Partner for TfL across the London underground network. Additionally visitors will have the chance to see Voltserver’s revolutionary technology in action which offers true innovation in the provision of power for electronic equipment using ‘digital electricity’.

Finally Paul Hodgson, Engineering Manager, National Power SCADA will be hosting a seminar on ‘The Future for Electrification Control’. Join Paul at 1.50pm on Wednesday 10th May, to learn how telent is delivering today for tomorrow’s railway.

Steve Dalton, Managing Director of telent Rail, comments: “Railtex is a great event for us to showcase how telent is leading change – technically and commercially in the rail industry. The UK’s rail network may be the oldest (and busiest) in the world, but we’re helping to make sure it moves with the times.”
