JCT Symposium & Exhibition 2019: Telent to showcase signal innovations

JCT Symposium & Exhibition 2019: Telent to showcase signal innovations that keep the country’s traffic moving.

Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18

Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham

Our highways present a number of challenges – not only for drivers but also for the organisations that must keep traffic flowing freely. With digitalisation now at the forefront of operations in all sectors, the UK’s roads are evolving rapidly and it’s full speed ahead for efficient signalling systems and ITS on-street solutions countrywide.

At the JCT Symposium & Exhibition in Nottingham from September 17-18, Telent will showcase its latest innovations that are driving safer and smarter roads for those living in Britain.

Driving the future

Unveiling current industry trends, JCT provides a great opportunity to explore the latest maintenance service innovations which keep our roads running smoothly.

As the UK’s leading event for ITS solution providers and consumers, this year’s exhibition will see Telent offer invaluable insight into the ITS equipment and fibre networks that are the backbone of England’s Strategic Road Network.

Further demonstrating the breadth of Telent’s innovation and proactive approach to the constantly changing road technology environment, the team will be demonstrating MOVA 8 on Telent’s Optima Traffic Signal Controllers at its stand at JCT.

Microprocessor Optimised Vehicle Actuation (MOVA) is a product designed to respond to changing road traffic conditions. With two modes of operation, for congested and free flowing traffic, the aim of MOVA is to disperse queues which may have built up on a red signal and calculate whether turning green would be beneficial. With the solution already yielding positive results, it can reduce congestion at junctions and ensure traffic keeps moving freely.

Talking technology

Telent’s team of highways experts will be available throughout the event at booth T2.
